FW Warehousing, a Warehousing and Distribution leader, recently announced that its annual inspections by AIB International recently took place in late December 2010 at the firm’s facilities in Centreville, Illinois and on Bond Avenue in East St. Louis, Illinois. The result: FW Warehousing was able to maintain its Superior AIB rating at both facilities.

“We’re very proud of the work the entire team at FW does to maintain such high standards for our customers,” said Mike Cusumano, Safety and Compliance Officer for FW Warehousing. “This year the AIB implemented an even more stringent rating system. Faced with these stricter standards many companies dropped from a Superior rating to an Excellent rating this year, but we were not one of those companies.”

“Maintaining our Superior AIB rating is a responsibility we take very seriously,” added Mark Cusumano, President and CEO of FW Warehousing. “FW was founded as a professional public warehouse for food and food-grade additives. It’s one of our core strengths. Keeping our Superior rating is vital to our entire warehousing and distribution business.”

Only facilities scoring in the top 25 percent of all scores in their business category are awarded a “Recommendation of High Achievement – Superior”. As you would expect from a leader in the field of warehousing and distribution, FW Warehousing maintained its Superior rating, as it has on a continual basis.
