The client had an urgent need for storage of 12,000 pallets of product. The client only had days to find and approve a storage space. FW Warehousing was able to accommodate the client’s needs and provide the needed space within the 7-day period. FW Warehousing implemented a solutions team to locate and secure warehouse space, certify that space for AIB food-grade storage, staff the new facility and set up transportation for moving the 12,000 pallets.
FW quickly and efficiently completed a situation analysis to determine space needed, finding the most optimal location near the client’s plant, setting staffing needs, drivers, tractors and trailers all within the required 7-day window. FW Warehouse provided a rapid start-up process which included opening a new 400,000 sq. ft. warehouse distribution center and moving staff from various existing facilities. FW also provided a hands-on, meet your needs management team to turn the facility into a fully, food-grade compliant space for the client. FW acquired all the permits and inspections within the same 7-day window. Within a week, the client had their urgent need resolved and FW was able to receive shipments of product into the new facility.
